Canesten 1% Cream 20g

Description

Canesten 1% Cream treats a broad range of fungal skin infections including ringworm, jock itch, fungal sweat rash, and fungal nappy rash. It is also used to relieve the irritation caused by external thrush.

• Canesten 1% Cream contains clotrimazole, an anti-fungal medication that effectively treats your fungal skin infection whilst relieving your symptoms such as irritated and itchy skin.
• Easy to use at home, the formula is mild but effective and is suitable for the whole family.

How to use: Apply thinly and evenly to the affected areas two or three times daily and rub in gently. Repeat 2-3 times a day for 2-4 weeks to treat the root of the infection. The symptoms of the infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. Signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear.

Even if your symptoms seem to be clearing up, you should complete the full course of treatment to ensure the infection is treated. If symptoms persist talk to your doctor.

• For external use only, If you accidentally get cream in your eyes or mouth, wash immediately with water and contact your doctor.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use it in the event of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
• Canesten 1% Cream can have side-effects, like all medicines, although not everyone gets them.

Ingredients: The active substance is clotrimazole. Each gram of cream contains 10mg Clotrimazole equivalent to 1% w/w. The other ingredients are benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, and purified water
