Acnecide 5% Gel 60g

Description

Acnecide 5% Gel is a leave-on treatment that has been formulated to treat mild facial spots, blackheads, and acne.

• Acnecide 5% Gel contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide, an active medicinal ingredient, which kills up to 95% of spot-causing bacteria in 1 week. Spot-causing bacteria growing in blocked pores can trigger irritation and the eruption of the blocked pore into a spot.
• In addition, Acnecide can help reduce blackheads and whiteheads (both are types of blocked pores, aka ‘comedones’).
• Suitable for use on the face, chest, and back.

How to use:

After washing with a mild cleanser and water, apply Acnecide once or twice a day to the entire affected areas. People with sensitive skin should apply the gel once daily before bedtime.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACNECIDE 5% GEL

• Do not apply to damaged skin. For external use only.
• Always read the patient information leaflet.
• Acnecide contains Benzoyl Peroxide, which can bleach fabric and hair.
• Avoid exposure to the sun while using this product.
• Acnecide medicinal treatments should not be used in conjunction with other benzoyl peroxide preparations.
• Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you or your child are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines, or receiving regular treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and the mucosa. In case of contact rinse with plenty of water.
• Do not use it in the event of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Ingredients: Hydrous Benzoyl Peroxide equivalent to Benzoyl peroxide 5% w/w, carbomer, sodium edetate, poloxamer, docusate sodium, silicon dioxide, propylene glycol, glycerol, methacrylate copolymer, sodium hydroxide solution, and purified water.
