Description
Relactagel is a vaginal gel containing lactic acid that has been clinically proven to restore vaginal pH levels and alleviate symptoms of bacterial vaginosis (BV). It contains lactic acid, which promotes the growth of healthy bacteria, and glycogen, which provides essential nutrients for these bacteria. Together, they support overall vaginal health.
Key benefits of Relactagel include:
- Treating bacterial vaginosis.
- Preventing the recurrence of bacterial vaginosis.
- Relieving abnormal discharge and unpleasant odour.
- Restoring and maintaining natural pH levels.
- Single-dose Relactagel applicators 7x5ml for measured, hygienic dosing.
The most common cause of recurring vaginal infection is Bacterial Vaginosis (BV). This is caused by a change in the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina. There are a number of conditions that may upset the natural acidity of the vagina, these include: fluctuating hormones due to menstrual cycle, pregnancy and menopause, antibiotics & sexual intercourse.
Recommended Dosage:
- Treatment: Use One single 5ml tube nightly for 7 nights at bedtime.
- Prevention: For short-term prevention after your period use one single 5ml tube nightly for 2–3 nights.
Instructions for use: Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
- Remove the applicator cap and gently insert the applicator nozzle into the vagina as far as is comfortable (do not force)
- Squeeze the tube to release the full contents (5 ml) into the vagina.
- Withdraw the applicator and discard it immediately; do not reuse single-dose applicators.
- Stay lying down for a few minutes or use a panty liner to reduce leakage; using the gel at bedtime helps it remain in place.
