Description

Cystopurin Cystitis Relief is an effective 48-hour complete course to help relieve discomfort in cystitis, by making the urine less acidic. Some common symptoms of a urinary tract infection include a burning, stinging, or painful sensation when urinating. Additionally, you may experience a frequent need to urinate, and the feeling that you can’t fully empty your bladder.

• The active substance in Cystopurin is Potassium Citrate, this helps to relieve the symptoms of cystitis by making your urine less acidic and reducing discomfort.
• Cystopurin is easy to use and has a pleasant cranberry flavour.

Directions: For Oral Use Only.

Adults and the elderly: One sachet dissolved in a small glass of cold water (200ml), three times daily for two days. All six sachets must be taken to complete the course of treatment.

Children over 6 years: Use only after advice from your doctor, and follow their directions carefully. Cystopurin is not recommended for children under 6 years.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CYSTOPURIN:

• Always read the patient information leaflet.
• Do not exceed the daily stated dose.
• Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you or your child are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines, or receiving regular treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• If the symptoms worsen or do not improve, or if other symptoms occur, consult a doctor.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• Do not exceed the stated dose, seek immediate medical advice in the event of an overdose.
• Like all medicines, Cystopurin can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you think you have any side effects or symptoms, stop using this medicine immediately and see a doctor as soon as possible.

Each Cystopurin sachet contains 3g of the active ingredient, potassium citrate. The other ingredients are mannitol (E421), citric acid (E330), aspartame (E951), cranberry flavour (flavour contains natural cranberry extracts with maltodextrin, silicon dioxide (E551),carmine (E120) and triacetin (E1518)).
